Hey there. I'm Rachel Galbraith. I approach therapy as a collaborative and deeply human process. No matter what brings you to therapy today, I want you to know that your story, especially the parts that feel messy, fragmented, or too much, is welcome here.

My work is grounded in relational and psychodynamic principles, with strong roots in trauma-informed care. I pay close attention to how your past experiences and relationships may still be showing up in the present—in your thoughts, emotions, patterns, and even within our therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll explore those threads with curiosity, care, and a pace that honours your nervous system and autonomy.

Therapy with me may include deep reflection, moments of quiet noticing, and sometimes laughter. I believe relief happens through insight, but also through relationship, one marked by respect, trust, and consistency. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more connected to yourself and more able to move through the world on your own terms.

I have a special interest in working with self-reflective individuals at a crossroads—people ready to examine longstanding patterns, heal from emotional wounds, and move toward lives shaped by their values, not their past.

Whether we’re gently challenging old coping strategies, experimenting with new tools, or simply making space to feel what needs to be felt, our work together will be rooted in deep respect for who you are and where you’ve been.

You’re not too much. You’ve survived, adapted, and made it here. That matters. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you from here.
