Cree Lambeck, B.Ed., M.A., RP

As owner and Clinical Director of this group practice, Cree brings a diverse range of experiences to her work. Cree's clinical training has been concentrated in perinatal mental health and women's wellness. She welcomes the opportunity to work with women, mothers, teachers and parents.

Amy Commanda, M.A., RP

As a licensed member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Amy is ready and committed to providing a safe, therapeutic environment to best facilitate your healing journey. Amy follows a gentle and empathetic approach that is collaborative and has a passion for helping empower women, mothers, and couples to overcome their struggles and live a life where they can be their authentic selves.

 

CLIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Julie Rice

As the Client Care Coordinator here at Cherry Tree Counselling, Julie is ready to answer any of your questions and connect you to the therapist and services that best meet your needs.

Julie provides FREE 15-minute initial consultations for any new clients considering therapy. She will make sure you are supported in the best way possible with the compassion, strategies and personalized resources you need.

Lauren Anastasi, M.A. (in progress), RP (Qualifying)

Lauren Anastasi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Intern Therapist who provides online affordable counselling at Cherry Tree Counselling and Psychotherapy Services. Lauren works with those looking for support with anxiety, depression, stress, life skills, self-care, coping skills and perinatal mental health.

 

ASSOCIATE THERAPIST

Michelle Stockwell, RN, MHSc, CNP/CPN Nurse Psychotherapist

Michelle is a Masters prepared certified Nurse Psychotherapist, offering evidence-based counselling to support emotional and physical well-being. Clients seeking clarity during life transitions or facing complex challenges, including mental and physical health issues, benefit from her practical, respectful approach. Through collaboration and tailored strategies, she empowers individuals and families to navigate stress, grief, and personal growth towards a balanced and fulfilling life.

 

ASSOCIATE THERAPIST

Jennifer Joseph, MSN, BSN, CPMHN(C), RN Psychotherapist

As a Nurse Psychotherapist, Jennifer is a healthcare professional with specialized training in both nursing and psychotherapy. Jennifer’s goal is to promote healing, personal growth, and mental and physical well-being. Jennifer has more than 16 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field and offers Eye Movement Desensitizaton and Reprocessing (EMDR) services in addition to other therapeutic modalities.

Kate McDermott, M.A., RP, CCC

As a Registered Psychotherapist and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Kate works with folks of all genders, non-binary, gender non-conforming, trans masculine, trans feminine, Two-Spirit and intersex individuals and anyone who is questioning or wants to explore their gender identity and expression. As a queer woman with a young family, Kate has the experience and training to support your unique challenges and minority stressors. If you are looking for a comfortable, safe and supportive space, Kate is here to help you achieve whatever change or shift you are trying to make in your life.

 

ASSOCIATE THERAPIST

Beth Lewis, M.A., RP

As a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of Ontario’s College of Registered Psychotherapists, Beth brings a diverse range of experience to our practice. Since 2019, Beth has served as a peer support volunteer with Sunnybrook’s Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network (PAIL). Beth's commitment to this work reflects her deep belief in the importance of companioning other families through some of the most painful and lonely moments of their lives.

Shabana Omar, BSc., M.A., RP

As a licensed mental health counsellor and member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Shabana’s extensive experience working with women from all age groups, and backgrounds, has allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of the particular challenges women experience.

THERAPY FORMATS

We offer ONLINE THERAPY via secure video sessions, phone or distance ecotherapy.

We offer IN-PERSON therapy at our counselling office located at 56 Governors Road, Dundas, Ontario.

We also offer IN-PERSON local “Walk and Talk” ecotherapy for the Dundas, Ontario area and DISTANCE Walk and Talk sessions (therapist-dependent).
