“You could rattle the stars. You could do anything, if you only dared.”
- THRONE OF GLASS
Charlotte is a compassionate Masters of Science in Psychotherapy student at McMaster University, stepping into her role as an Intern Therapist at Cherry Tree with a genuine heart for supporting others.
Currently immersed in her practicum, she brings a fresh, eager perspective to her work, excited to walk alongside clients as they uncover their stories and move toward healing. What draws her into this field is a deep passion for connection—she loves building meaningful relationships with new people and being there for those who need it most.
One thing Charlotte often hears is the misconception that therapy is rigid, something only for "severe" cases or not meant for everyone. She wants to challenge that idea, showing clients that treatment can be flexible and tailored just for them. Guided by her core values of integrity, respect, and accountability, she approaches her learning and practice with humility, seeing these qualities as the foundation for growing as a clinician and thriving in a supportive team.
For potential clients, Charlotte hopes you'll know she's still a student on her own journey of growth, but her enthusiasm for this work is unwavering. Working with her means being truly heard— she'll take the time to understand your experiences and collaborate with you every step of the way, turning your goals into a shared adventure.
Outside of sessions, she gives back through the "Fresh Start Program" in Mississauga, where once a month she helps women and families leaving shelters settle into their new homes. Whether it's packing boxes, sourcing essentials, or creating spaces that feel like true sanctuaries, these moments remind her why she does what she does: to foster safety, hope, and new beginnings.
