Nurse Psychotherapy Support
WHOLE-PERSON MENTAL HEALTH CARE WITH NURSE PSYCHOTHERAPISTS IN DUNDAS/HAMILTON, ONTARIO
Whole-person care for emotional, mental, physical, and life transitions
At Cherry Tree, Jennifer Hines and Michelle Stockwell offer psychotherapy support through the lens of nursing and mental health care.
Sometimes the challenges we experience are not only emotional. Stress can affect the body. Hormonal shifts can impact mood and identity. Life transitions can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, our relationships, or our sense of stability.
Registered nurse psychotherapy support offers space to explore these experiences with care, compassion, and a whole-person perspective.
Our approach is grounded, relational, and focused on helping you feel understood and supported through change.
What is Nurse Psychotherapy?
Nurse psychotherapy is therapy provided by a registered or certified nurse with training and competence in psychotherapy and mental health support.
Jennifer and Michelle bring both clinical nursing knowledge and therapeutic care into work with clients. This allows them to support emotional well-being while also understanding how factors such as stress, sleep, hormones, health concerns, caregiving, burnout, and life stage transitions may be connected to what you are experiencing.
Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs.

A Whole-Person Approach to Care
Mental health does not exist separately from the rest of your life.
Your body, relationships, environment, stress levels, hormones, responsibilities, and lived experiences all shape how you feel and move through the world.
Jennifer and Michelle offer care that recognizes these connections and creates space to explore them without judgment.
You do not need to have the “right” words before starting therapy.
You do not need to minimize what you are carrying.
And you do not need to navigate it alone.
