Symptoms like anxiety, depression, and feelings of hopelessness can arise in response to the weight of climate change… otherwise known as eco-anxiety and climate grief. It can be difficult to know where to start when it comes to taking action, and it's easy to feel like our individual efforts won't make a difference.

Eco-counselling can be a helpful tool in addressing these symptoms, providing a safe space to process emotions and develop coping strategies.

We can work with you to identify the specific ways in which climate change is impacting your mental health and provide support and guidance in navigating these challenges. WHAT IS ECO-COUNSELLNG?

Eco-counselling is a type of therapy that can help people who are struggling with environmental issues. It's a relatively new field that is quickly gaining popularity as more and more people become aware of the impact that humans are having on the planet.

One of the great things about eco-counselling is that it's a holistic approach to therapy. It recognizes that our mental health is deeply connected to the health of the planet, and that our well-being is tied to our relationship with the natural world. It allows you to explore your connection to nature and find ways to deepen that connection, while helping you to develop coping strategies for dealing with your feelings of guilt, anxiety, or despair about the environment. This unique approach to managing eco-anxiety and climate grief strengthens emotional wellbeing and environmental consciousness so you can feel empowered to take action and make a difference.

Children who are worried about the environment may feel overwhelmed or helpless, and may struggle with anxiety or depression as a result. We can support parents in acknowledging their worries or fears by helping them take action and providing children and youth with a sense of empowerment and control.
