OUR APPROACH

It takes a village.

The mental health and well-being of women is vital to our communities, yet there continues to be a lack of support for those issues specific to women and maternal health. We are also aware of the unique health care needs of our 2SLGBTQ+ communities - a population which deserves access to specialized services and affirming care. As women, mothers, 2SLGBTQ+ allies, and therapists ourselves, we recognize the gaps in care that currently exist.

Our goal is to build an inclusive and equitable community where people feel empowered to find their voice, share their story, and recognize their greatest potential.

We offer a community of caring, safety and healing where you will feel empowered to share your stories, find your voice, and tackle your challenges from a place of knowledge, confidence and emotional strength.

As a partner on your healing journey, together we will identify your unique needs and goals and create a plan to move forward. We use an integrated blend of evidence-based therapy models that are designed to get to the heart of your issues so that you can enjoy a strong and positive relationship - with yourself and those around you.

Whether you're facing a current challenge, a past pain, or are simply feeling stuck in this phase of your life, we can help you to access your purpose so you can start living the life you want with intention, mindfulness and balance.

THE MEANING BEHIND OUR NAME

As the national flower of Japan, the cherry blossom is one of the most prominent images throughout Japanese culture and reflects a longstanding Buddhist concept in Japanese culture known as “mono no aware,” or roughly, “the pathos of things,” which recognizes both the beauty and mortality inherent in life.

So stunning, yet so brief in their glory, the natural beauty of the blossoms serves as a visual reminder that our lives are also precious, transient and impermanent.

As we go forward, we can learn to engage with the space we are in, to find joy, passion and renewal in the small gifts tucked inside each day.

Known as 'Sakura', the cherry blossom symbolizes revival, and rebirth.
